RCC Completes Cheeca Lodge

Royal Concrete Concepts (RCC) announced the completion of the Cheeca Lodge & Spa in Islamorada. In February 2009, Cheeca Lodge chose Royal Concrete Concepts to design and build its 64-room hotel. Royal Concrete Concepts Relocates Modular Classrooms, Saves School District 50%

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The Palm Beach County School District is relocating modular concrete classrooms to save money and reduce their environmental impact with the help of Royal Concrete Concepts (RCC).
RCC and the district are reusing Royal's concrete relocatables from Palm Beach Gardens High School and are reassembling them for an addition to Jupiter Middle School of Technology.

Baker County Middle School Touts New Building Wing with Open House

August 13,2009

MACCLENNY, Fla. - Baker County Middle School is holding an open house for parents on Thursday, August 20, at its new two-story, 24-room wing constructed by West Palm Beach-based Royal Concrete Concepts (RCC). The school addition, consisting of 23 classrooms and an office, was constructed of Royal's precast concrete modules that are built at the company's Okeechobee plant and arrive virtually complete.

The Fury of Hurricane Ike Is No Match for Concrete Modular Buildings

August 3rd, 2009 

Concrete Contractor, July 2009 The U.S. Coast Guard's motto Semper Paratus, "Always Ready," held double meaning when Hurricane Ike swept through the Great Inagua Island of the Bahamas in September 2008. their children would spend the school year in portable classrooms while their permanent
building is under construction.

But they quickly changed their mind after touring the campus. These aren't the old
decaying wooden and metal portables held up by cinder blocks of the 1960s. These

GIFFORD - In just 24 hours, a prefabricated, concrete 12-classroom wing of the Gifford
Alternative Education Center sprouted from the soil work that normally would take
months to complete using traditional blocks and mortar.

"There was nothing but the footers yesterday morning," Royal Concrete Concepts

growth and the mandates of Florida's class-size reduction laws. They have limited funds
and volumes of government red tape to overcome, yet the prices of construction materials
and property ratchet up relentlessly with each day's delay.

With such daunting demands, it's not surprising if school system leaders sometimes gaze
heavenward in search of solutions.

For counties like Hernando that have quickly growing student enrollments but not much
in the way of cash, it may represent the future of school construction: a concrete portable
classroom.

On Friday afternoon, a handful of school district officials looked on with smiles as a
crane lifted one of the classrooms from the back of a truck and lowered it onto the ground
at the Star Education Center, a place that serves mostly students who struggled in regular
